BRICKS RESTAURANT ORDER PAGE
The challenge was to stay within the existing color scheme of charcoal and red, while designing an intuitive and inviting website that centered on the new ordering capabilities for the restaurant. Letting the images speak for themselves required a clean, white background for a stark contrast. Simple navigation with clean indications of where the user is within the site was a main design consideration and was accomplished using a combination of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
A few sketches of layouts provided useful elements from each and turned into the displayed mock-up. The main problem was ensuring the customer had both a site navigation and a menu navigation that was easy to distinguish and with no learning curve required.
